The Prophets and Messengers: "We did aforetime send apostles before you:
of them there are some whose story We have related to you and some
whose story We have not related to you. It was not (possible) for any
apostle to bring a Sign except by the leave of Allah: but when the
Command of Allah issued the matter was decided in truth and justice
and there perished there and then those who stood on Falsehoods."( The
Holy Quran Surah Al-Ghaafir 78 )
There are twenty five prophets mentioned in the Quran by name.

The companions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him), also
known as the Sahabah, formed the first Muslim community under the
direct leadership of the Prophet. Their lives are shining examples to
follow and understand the Truth. May Allah T'ala be pleased with them
all.
